Samir Saleh Al-Khaled, Director of Jeddah Vocational & Industrial Institute, headed a group of the institute’s staff and students on a visit to SABIC affiliate Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (YANSAB) headquarters, on February 25, 2007. The objective of the visit was to explore the company’s current and future operations. The delegation visited the manufacturing complex, currently under construction in Yanbu Industrial city. It is one of the world's largest petrochemical complexes with an annual production capacity exceeding four million tons of petrochemical products.

The members of the delegation expressed their admiration for the enormous potential of the company and its production plans. They also cited the increasing contributions of SABIC and its affiliates in the promotion of the Saudi industry and developing SABIC’s competitiveness in global markets.
